Hi there! We are the Valley Flyers (Blue Sky Pilots’, Inc.) Flying Club, located at McNary Field (KSLE) in Salem, the capital of Oregon. It is a small city in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley. It is truly one of the best places on earth, and there are good flying days all year.

We have five well maintained aircraft, great members, and access to fine instructors. Our members can fly with instructors, work on advanced ratings, or just use the airplanes for pleasure. We also have flyouts, BBQs, and other fun social events.

New Airplane Checklists

Scott Bragg has put together new checklists for our aircraft. Electronic copies are available on the Aircraft page in a study version and a print version. Laminated copies are also available in the airplanes. Please make sure you leave them in the airplane when you’re done flying!

Aircraft Scheduling and Billing Now at FlightCircle

As of October 1st, Valley Flyers has switched over to using FlightCircle (www.flightcircle.com) for aircraft scheduling, dispatch, and check-in, along with billing. If you weren’t able to attend one of the training sessions, a guide to the new system is now available in the Club Info section of the website.
